Episode 32 - Midnight Mass

• April 25th, 2013

Well, folks, it's been nearly two years since 'The Rafferty/Mills Connection' aired a podcast episode. We kept you waiting long enough for more audio - but life stuff got in our way.

But wait no longer.

It's just me, Nick, for the time being - this podcast episode came after an experiment with the iPhone 5 voice memo recorder after writing a short blog to vent on stuff. This is tester for what may come to be a regular thing again if everything goes well.

Topics include... a lot. This is a venting episode. I vent the shit out of stuff. I ramble at times, swear lots, keep talking.. Margaret Thatcher's death and subsequent mixed reaction, Danny Dyer and other stuff that crops up. Just get listening.

It's uncensored filth - so beware of strong language!

Bonus Audio - Recap Your Kneecaps

• June 21st, 2011

With the original recording just over two hours long, we've decided to seperate this audio from the actual show and turn it into bonus audio - more for you to listen to after the six month hiatus!

Nick rants about the journalistic tactics of websites such as TMZ and Perez Hilton, also offering his discussion on the journalism used when 'celebrities' die. This then turns into Danny and Nick's take on Heath Ledger, Nicolas Cage and Mel Gibson amongst others - are they great actors?

The second audio starts during a discussion on 'The Three Stooges' and the art of slapstick and silent comedy. The two bring up their recent 'worst' films - the remake of Wicker Man and 'AntiChrist' (directed by Lars Von Trier) and ask why Hollywood continue to make remakes of classic British films. Their wrath is mostly directed towards Nicolas 'Ahhhh, not the bees!' Cage, who Nick regards as one of the 'worst actors of all time'. Is he right?

Episode 31 - Recap Your Kneecaps.

• June 21st, 2011

After a six month hiatus, 'The Rafferty/Mills Connection' finally returns to the podcasting world! In ninety minutes of audio, Nick and Danny are rejuvenated and give their thoughts on a range of subjects - most importantly, the audio rants of Charlie Sheen. Once despised by both hosts, there seems to have been a huge u-turn in their opinions. Why? We discuss the 'Two and a Half Men' show and if Aston Kutcher makes a good replacement and if this is better than the Mel Gibson audio.

Also on the agenda is the news that 'The Human Centipede II' has been banned by the British Board of Film Classification - having seen the first, Nick discusses whether the first really deserved the constant negative reviews.

Nick shows off his new iPhone, the hosts talk about the new ThunderCats series and discuss the issue of assisted suicide amongst others.

A surprise is in store as a long-awaited special guest returns for a one-off special appearence... A SARE YIN!
